The Mazda RX7 was they ray of hope we all needed during the fuel crisis, to still have a fun, "reliable", sports car, and it did exactly that! In any form (twin/single/na) this car is the most playful, bratty, sporty 90s jdm car to rule them all, its just a little tempermental to live with everyday...

yeah..noo I kinda cheesed buying a 2nd one...but in reality having a parts car checks out great but unfortunately, CAS, AFM, TPS, and the IACV didn't result in a success for getting this car back to where I need to be...throttle sputters down low in the rpm range and it also has a noticible delay in throttle response. Yea billybuilt the z32 guru does some wild stuff to that vg motor. I'm cursed with the 96 model 😭
It still requires a ton of driver input and a finesse to get it just right. I've let people drive my car and they always make it feel a lot more clunky and jerky then someone with miles on one. So satisfying when you nail it just right.
Yeah 100% I feel it's like an MR2 on steroids 🤣. Super easy to pitch the car where you want it. But it isn't an easy car to master at the limit when I was getting on it. Could be the air ride but having no power steering and still handling that good is pretty awesome 😎

do go through your average car wash, the spinny brush things can actually scratch your car and it is better to just hand wash it :)
